We like to (literally!) keep “eyes on” new developments, and we’ve been given the heads-up by a very good friend in Hong Kong that there’s a new brand in play by the name of “SwampDeer” that’s entering the optics market, and their first model, the TR 1.2-6x LOW POWER VARIABLE OPTIC (LVPO) looks to be a very useful bit of kit!

We’re told that Zero One Consulting is now releasing a new brand of optic, SwampDeer, to the European Market, and we are pleased to announce the news that they will be releasing more and more quality and budget-friendly optics to help make your build complete. They tell us:

“Our first product is the TR 1.2-6x LPVO, and we are pleased to announce this news with an online magazine with the presence and the exposure of Airsoft Action, and we are also pleased to announce that we will be providing a sample to them for testing. Please check out our Online Shop and follow us for more news on Instagram!”

Being a LPVO, or Low Power Variable Magnification Optic, it features a 1.2x Minimum Zoom, allowing you to use it in a way to engage shorter distance targets, and a maximum of 6x Magnification for mid-distance targets. It is a Second Focal Plane optic, crosshair Reticle, which is a reticle that does not follow the magnifications of the optic. The TR 1.2x – 6x Optic can use for both tactical and precision shooting.

STATS:

Magnification: 1.2x – 6x
Weight: 300g
Reticle: Crosshair
Length: 23cm
Focal Plane: 2nd Focal Plane
Material: Aluminum
Eye Relief: 80 – 100mm
Tube Diameter: 25.4mm
Click Value: 1/4MOA per click

The product comes with a 25mm Mount, but is compatible with all good quality scope mounts that are 25mm in diameter. Made of Lightweight Aluminum, it is durable, but maintains a lower weight and profile so it will sit closer to the bore of your rifle or carbine, increasing the ADS speed. Waterproof and shockproof, it looks to be a thoroughly reliable optic, and we’ll be checking it out in due course and reporting back in the “monthly” once we’ve made our evaluation!

We already know there is more to come from SwampDeer, but for now, keep up to date with SwampDeer Optics via their IG (@zero.one.consulting_01) and Facebook pages!
