It’s that time again to catch up with some of the AA Crew and to find out what their  airsoft-weekend holds for them!

As always the “office crew” are hard at work compiling all the reviews, articles and reports that have already landed in preparation for ISSUE 162, and of course games, range and workshop sessions go on as always!

Bill told us that “I always look forward to the weekend as it’s the time that I can take myself off to the woodland range and get some BBs down with the latest arrivals! As the G&G R5 has arrived that will be getting some serious attention, but I managed to tear one of the pre-production samples of the VMP-2 from the hands of the VORSK crew when I visited them this week so I want to at least get that set up with optics and accessories!”

There’ll be further news to come from Bill on “Project VMP” in the new issue as he brings everything up to date with the latest developments!

Meanwhile, Stewbacca tells us that “Team TaiJi are apparently venturing indoors to Linkou CQB this weekend on account of the recent rain blighting the whole island from what it seems. Yours truly, however, will be dabbling in IDPA once again with a level 1 invite only foray somewhere in Taipei – again, indoors, thankfully. I also have some final write ups or editing and whatnot to do for next issue rounding off phase 2 of my adventures in modularity with LCT’s AK74MN and Z Series accessories… And there’s got to be at least another phase after that for all the stuff I still haven’t tried out – they spoil me so!”

Miguel (pictured this week in all his “bar-code” fine-ness as he calls it!) reported in to tell us “This weekend we are hitting our main field for a simple practice/game. It’s one those events where my team members invite friends/family/coworkers to try Airsoft in a controlled and “friendly” environment. It’s one of our ways to find new players who might be interested in joining the team, since we have a “recruitment” later this year.”

Boycie is mixing his a weekend a bit as he said that “I’ve a family day on Saturday then Sunday will be further work on the planning of training in which the use of 6mm (airsoft) is a big part. Also if time allows I’ll get to writing a new article for the mag about it all too!”

The rest of the crew are prepping for the months ahead, but as it’s been a busy old time for us all recently the “chillin’” aspect is strong with us to round out this week! We hope that you’ll all be getting a little of that for yourselves, but of course if you are out playing then…

Play hard, Play safe, and above all, Play with Honour!
