The new Cybergun CANIK TP9 GBB has finally arrived with us for testing, and we’re pretty excited about this model! This awesome new pistol packs some interesting features and looks just like the real counterpart; the CANIK website tells us that;

“In collaboration with Salient Arms International, an industry-leading designer of pistol part upgrades, Canik introduces the TP9. With new performance finishes on external and internal components, a new CET™ trigger, performance upgrades designed by SAI and much more, the Canik TP9 meets the challenge of every need!”

Licensed by Cybergun the airsoft replica has the correct CANIK and Salient Arms International markings throughout. The pistol is OEM’d by Armorer Works and has a metal slide and polymer frame with a metal flared magwell. The flat faced competition style trigger is positive and very comfortable to use. The slide release is ambidextrous and the magazine release can be switched over too. The slide is cut to take an adaptor for RDS (NOT included in the box) but has very serviceable iron sights fitted as standard. There’s an accessory rail underneath the sharp end for taclites and other accessories, and a live fire indicator at the back of the pistol.

This pistol is a great new replica of another “real deal” performance handgun and it’s great to see manufacturers trying something new…. now we’ll see just how good it is as an airsoft pistol (thanks to www.iwholesales.co.uk for the loan of the sample!) and report back in due course… for now, we like what we see!
