ICS have been in touch to let us know all about their latest additions to the LIGHTWAY range of AEGs, the Lightway-Dagger and Lightway-Peleador! We’ve seen the Peleador before in a different guise, but the exciting addition for us is the DAGGER!

This smart-looking AEG has been designed for close quarter battle scenarios, and it appears light, robust and yet compact. With the ICS ERGO technology, it looks like it’s going to be a great paltforn to easily manipulate in tight spaces, whilst maintaining the clean, modern look that we’ve come to expect from our friends at ICS!

The DAGGER continues to be driven along by the unique ICS-designed split gearbox, which as we all know provides easy maintenance and upgrading, and the receivers can be completely separated just like real firearms. The gearbox design also has their QD (Quick Detach) spring guide feature, providing a more efficient way to comply with different site limits.

We also like the fact that this model retains the function that by pressing the Forward Assist you can release the spring tension when you finish your gameday to avoid spring elastic fatigue. Add to this the latest built-in MOSFET which reduces the electrical resistance and working temperature effectively to extend the service lifetime of the replica, and the DAGGER is looking like a pretty neat package.

There’s also a newly designed 6-inch reinforced industrial grade nylon-fibre handguard that has a unique textured design, along with the excellent flip-up sights as standard, and what looks to be their easy-to-use T-MAG as part of the deal, so this new AEG looks ready to hit the field direct from the box!
