For lovers of the more esoteric and historical when it comes to their airsoft, we’re pleased to tell you that we’ve been advised by TAIWANGUN that they finally have the long-awaited S&T SVT-40 AEG in stock!
Yup, for those that like their WWII-era platforms (or perhaps something for a cool post-ap loadout), this stunning-looking AEG featuring real wood furniture will be pleasing a lot of players worldwide. The guys at TAIWANGUN tell us;
“(The) SVT-40 rifle replica by S&T is an excellent choice for history and airsoft enthusiasts. Modeled after the legendary Russian semi-automatic rifle used, among others, during World War II, it faithfully recreates the weapon used by snipers such as Lyudmila Pavlichenko. The model is made of real wood and steel, ensuring an authentic appearance and solid construction.
The replica is made from high-quality materials, ensuring durability and a realistic look. The handguard, upper cover, and stock are made from a single piece of wood, while metal components such as the receiver, front sight, bolt, rear sight, and barrel shroud are made of steel. Original markings on the receiver further emphasize authenticity, making this model an excellent choice for reenactors who value historical details.
Just like the original, the replica fires in semi-automatic mode only, which enhances realism and faithfully reflects the characteristics of the original firearm. Additionally, the replica features a trigger safety identical to the original design. The model is supplied with a steel magazine with a capacity of 80 BBs.”
This all sounds mighty fine, and we’ve also established that the SVT-40 is equipped with a reinforced gearbox, an adjustable rotary-type hop-up system, and that the rifle comes with an ETU with a gear position control system, increasing its durability and overall performance.
Worth the wait? We think it may well be, and we’re looking forward to getting our hands on a superb-looking piece of history just as soon as we can!
