We’re having a couple of “away days” from AAHQ this week, and our first stop on the road was to pop in and catch up with our old friends at iWholesales to see what they have that’s new and shiny… as well as to have another go on the awesome HPA-driven range at Bespoke Airsoft… and a Noveske N4 MAY have been put into full giggle-mode while we were there as an HPA adaptor and a Hi Cap can be such fun!
And there were new and shiny things there were aplenty too which we’ll talk about in full in due course, but what we’d like to highlight today is more of a “blast from the past” in the shape of the Springfield M1 Carbine (C02)!
Now believe it or not we still have a working Marushin 8mm M1 in the depths of the armoury, and it’s a little rifle that we still love to shoot…. although ammo is getting a little scarce these days!
So, we were really pleased to see a new take on this venerable classic; this awesome 6mm replica recreates the iconic World War II-era firearm with much love and attention to detail, and it feels just fabulous in the hands, especially the version with real wood furniture (faux-wood is also available) which is totally sumptuous!
At its heart lies a robust C02-powered blowback system, delivering satisfying recoil with each shot. This feature not only enhances the realism but also provides valuable feedback, giving you a real feel of the rifle you’re shooting! We already love it and can’t wait to get it properly out on the range for some serious shooting… we just know that this will be FUN!
