Last week we talked about the new AR GBBRs from SECUTOR and that’s an exciting new direction for them sure enough… BUT… obviously they’re not for one moment forgetting their AEG range, and they’ll be adding to the latest influx of MP-5-inspired AEGs with THREE new models!
The new models in the VIRTUS line will feature an adapter that, like the real MP-5, allows for the mounting of a G36 stock or indeed a side-folder of your choice, along with a top RIS rail for sighting accessories. There’s then a choice of either classic picatinny or the M-LOK system as shown in today’s image of the VII variant
Internally, the AEGs will include an electronic trigger system, a precision 6.03mm inner barrel, and a Maple Leaf rubber and nub for improved accuracy. The VII gearbox is built for durability with a combination of 8mm bearings and bushings, a metal cylinder set (cylinder, cylinder head, and nozzle), and a piston with all metal teeth.
The G-II will come with the G36 stock fitted, whilst the the G-X and VII models have side-folders and will also come with a suppressor as standard, and each has a magazine capacity of 100 BBs. They’ll come factory-set to a power of 330 FPS using 0.20g BBs, with an 11.1V LiPo battery recommended for optimal performance.
These certainly look very cool to us, and once again it’s fabulous to see new life being breathed into the old MP-5 platform for another generation of players to enjoy!
