Another new week is upon us, and at AAHQ we’re all “busy, busy” as we start to bring ISSUE 180 together ready for 15 NOVEMBER, and November itself is looking to be a cracking month as Bill prepares to head off to Taiwan to join Stewbacca and Anny at the MOA EXPO 2025… yes, “Show Season” is once again well and truly upon us now, and we’re already getting teasers from the manufacturers that will be present on new products and new directions!
Of course we’ll report on everything that the guys see in Taiwan in depth both via our show updates, and then with another truly mammoth report in due course… so watch this space as always!
However, whilst we expect to see “new, new” things at the upcoming shows that doesn’t mean that we’re not working on new projects of our own, and in ISSUE 18O you can expect to see Part I of “PROJECT STACATTO” as Boycie (with a little help from our “battle brother” Trampas of ARMED LIFESTYLE MAGAZINE in the USA and RS-shooter and veteran airsofter Tim C!) delves into making the STACATTO P (pictured) the GBB that we know it truly can be!
Bill first introduced the EMG-licenced Army Armament STACATTO line of 2011-style GBB pistols way back in ISSUE 165, and they’ve been gaining traction with many pistol shooters since then! He said at the time;
“In summation my time on the range with the P 2011 has been a highly pleasurable experience; I know that the real STACCATO handguns have an excellent reputation, and now I’ve had the chance to shoot with one of the replicas I can completely understand why in relation to ergonomics, balance and ease of manipulation. When you shoot a STACCATO airsoft pistol you can feel that it has been crafted by skilled hands to perform every time.”
Given his love of “the real” Boycie has picked things up in recent months and “PROJECT STACATTO” has taken on a life of its own…
“Having had the opportunity to handle the real versions of the Staccato range, this gives me a more unique perspective over others who may only have the chance to handle and use only the 6mm replicas. Onwards to 2025 and again, we had the opportunity to see and handle both RS and replica models. I’m hopeful that in 2026 when we return to Vegas for SHOT Show 26, that we may just be lucky enough to be able to make a trip out to the newly named Staccato Vegas range to do some testing!”
So there you have it… AIRSOFT ACTION is where RS meets airsoft, and we’re bringing it all together now with an exciting GBB pistol to really show just how close our replicas have got to the real deal… check out ISSUE 180 on 15 NOVEMBER to learn more!
