Way back in ISSUE 166 we introduced the G&G ARMAMENT ESG B-10 shotgun, and oh boy, did we like it or what?
Bill said at the time in his initial review that;
“G&G have actually succeeding in bringing us one heck of a modern, semi-auto airsoft “combat shotgun”, one that’s purpose-designed to “get work done”. If you’re looking for that special “CQB tool” that will clear a room without a shadow of a doubt, and give you a huge grin while you do it, then check out the ESG B-10… I am 100% certain that once you’ve tried it you will fall in love it just as much as I have.”
And we’ve continued to love it collectively, and as the original B-10 weighed in at a solid 3140g with the weight most definitely to the rear where you can tuck it firmly into the shoulder, the 561mm overall length made the ESG a platform that you can move around easily, a real bonus in tight spaces!
Add to this that the ESG, which refers to the fact that it’s an “Evolution Shot Gun” whilst the B-10 part indicates it is a “Bullpup”, is capable of firing “10” BBs with each and every squeeze of the trigger and you have a proper “trench broom”… okay, not a long range platform but one that works perfectly for its intended purpose…
But of course G&G never sit on their hands, and one of the new models that Bill and Stewbacca talked to Randy and Ryan about at MOA, the ESG B-10 2.0, takes things even further… or should we say shorter… and lighter!
The latest “evolution” reduces the overall length of the platform to just 470mm and brings the weight down to just 2650g so that means it will be even easier and quicker to manipulate when things get “up close and personal”!
We know there’s a lot more top come from G&G in 2026 but as far as we’re concerned this is an awesome start to their new-year rollout!
