VFC have wow’d us time and again with their GBBR creations, and many of the AA Crew have at least one in their armoury!
At this season’s MOA (which you’ll find details of here on the AA website, and reported on in full by Stewbacca in ISSUE 169!) they dropped more than a few jaws though when they first showed something completely new and different, a GBB take on the classic WWII SMG, the PPsh41!
We saw it again at IWA and we’ve been waiting somewhat impatiently to get more information, and thanks to our erstwhile Legionnaire in Taiwan “Military Anny” we now know a whole lot more!
Anny has prepared a great report for us following the official launch event that she attended last month, and we’ll be running this in ISSUE 175 when we have even more information from our old friends at VFC… Anny told us though;
“I was honoured to be invited to participate in the launch of the world’s first mass-produced PPsh41 AIRSOFT GBB held by VFC on April the 11th; VFC dealers and YouTube celebrities also came along that day. VFC brand spokesperson Sally Chou served as the host to kick off the new product launch”
Anny managed to get us some great information on the specs of the new GBB which we can share with you here:
- Weight: empty GBB weighs approximately 4500g
- Magazine capacity: 120 rounds.
- Inner barrel length: 208 mm.
- Overall length: 843mm.
- Initial velocity: 100m/s (0.20g BB).
- Note: It is recommended to use 12kg gas.
Our thanks go to “Military Anny” as always for sharing her findings with us, and we’ll be sure to tell you even more in ISSUE 175 on 15 JUNE!
