Another month swings on by, and the year continues to race along as the AIRSOFT ACTION team start to pull things together for Q4 of 2025, and what a final quarter it looks to be!

Of course the big news for us this week is our latest media partnership with the MOA EXPO 2025, and this has given us yet another boost, and another avenue to charge down in our never-ending quest to bring all of you out there in the international airsoft community the very best content that we possibly can.

And saying that, plans are already afoot for our attack-plan for the next Show Season; although we’re still getting through testing all the new AEGs and GBBs that have appeared since we saw them at the shows last and earlier this year, we’ve also seen some unexpected contenders appear for our 2025 “favourites”, and of course we’ll round out the year with those as always!

MOA EXPO, SHOT SHOW, and of course our perennial favourite IWA are all now on the immediate horizon, and accommodation is already being booked for all of them… 2025 ain’t done yet by a LONG way, but those who adhere to “All the P’s” are loading and locking already for 2026!

But that’s still down the road right now, so let’s get back to focussing on the here and now! What are the AA Crew up to this weekend?

Bill is pretty darn excited right now, mooching around AAHQ with purpose and muttering things like “KAC QDC MCQ… L900A1 Optic Suite…”, and he told us “yeah, the VFC L403A1 GBBR just arrived for range testing, and oh boy, what a beauty it is! My thanks go to the wonderful guys at VFC for getting this over so fast… 48 hours Taiwan to UK, almost a record! Initial shots… it shoots SO well on .32s and appears to be able to hop a .40 as stock… we’ll see how that settles in! I’ve gotta say, impressed AF so far, but a proper range session on the barricades tomorrow… in the rain it appears haha! I’ve also got the final test session with the latest EVOLUTION GHOST (pictured) before I finalise my full review, but thus far I’m liking that a lot too… well done to my mates in Italy on another cool AEG!”

Stewbacca said “this Sunday team TaiJi are going to Longtan out to the south of Taipei for some jungle action, having just used the MD9 all night at another Linkou CQB evening shoot I’ll probably take the FAL OSW for a spin given the terrain and just general need for rotation of all the guns.”

Dan commented “with OP:Pegasus XVI around the corner, it’s the usual mad crush to get everyone’s builds squared away for the event, as well as a bit of “cat herding” trying to nail down some stragglers who’ve gone dark in their communications, but who’s items seem to have taken out long term storage on my shelves. This week I need to hammer out a couple custom KAC builds, another SIG Rattler, make a few tweaks to an ICS CXP, and get a bit of Vz.58 heresy built.”

Li’l Stu will be busy “fettling my M4 GBBR’s ( hopefully!)”, and Boycie told the group chat “I will have some time to be digging through my kit room on the hunt for some parts for my <Redacted> build. I’ve also dug out the GBBP case to get the Glocks out as I’m working on an article based on a TV show and the Glock is what is featured in the series.”

After a busy old time at the awesome UK NATIONAL AIRSOFT FESTIVAL last weekend, Ben told us “I’ve no plans of getting out and playing for the next couple of weeks as I’ll be off on holiday soon, but a bit of rejig, restock and some testing on the range is on the cards tomorrow. At the moment I’m working some video editing from NAF for my own YouTube channel, then I’m gonna smash some flint together and get that inspiration spark going for my write up of the event!

For the members of the AA Crew in Portugal who are coming to the end of their annual “airsoft pauseMiguel told us “still no airsoft (last weekend without it… hooray!), but I’ll be celebrating my birthday among many airsoft players anyway!” I’m sure that you’ll join all of us in wishing Miguel a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

To conclude this week we also had some fabulous news that our “tech vikingJimmy is finally out of hospital and is now home and recuperating… hopefully we can all get together with him soon, and again we’re certain you’ll join us in wishing him a continued and speedy recovery.

So, workshops are busy, range sessions are imminent, and games are ready to be played… if you’re out playing yourself this weekend we wish you all the very best in your airsoft adventures, and as we always say at this time of the week… Play Hard, Play Safe, and above all, Play with Honour!
