It’s quiet at AAHQ today as some of the team have headed off to the UK NATIONAL AIRSOFT FESTIVAL for the Bank Holiday weekend, and as ISSUE 177 is out there, and ISSUE 178 is well “in-build” there’s a little moment to take a pause and work out what we’re lining up for the rest of the year…

It won’t be long until Show Season is upon us again, and hopefully Bill will be joining Stewbacca at MOA 2025… then there’s SHOT SHOW, and of course IWA to look forward to, and planning is already underway for us to attend all three major international shows as usual… we like to make sure that we have “all the Ps” covered!

As the new issue went live this time last week many of the wider AA Crew are taking a little bit of a breather too, and of course “our guys” down in Portugal are still on their summer break… Miguel informs us that there’s a “team pool party” in the offing which sounds like a LOT of fun!

Stewbacca will be attending the now-annual “BADE STREET SURVIVAL FESTIVAL” along with Military Anny which he tells us will be bigger and better than before, and we’re looking forward to his report on this unique event!

Big news of course though is the UK NATIONAL AIRSOFT FESTIVAL that we’ve attended and supported right from the very beginning, and Bill (pictured with Ben this week) told us:

“By the time this post goes live Ben and I will be set up in the camping area down in the New Forest, and hopefully this year we’ll be basking in some sunshine after the tempest last year! We’ll be hitting the road early Thursday to head on down for a weekend at the Festival for a few days of camping, BBQ, and general airsoft-related shenanigans again, so if you see us then do come and say “Hi!”

“What I love most is the energy of the event, and whether you play all weekend, for a little while, or not at all still you still get to experience what I’ll simply call “The Joy of Airsoft”. There are players, just shy of 3,000 again for 2025 from what I hear, airsoft platforms of all flavours, some brilliant (and some downright crazy!) loadouts, and a LOT of friendly banter (what do you say to DELTA???)…

“As I say about every NAF, whatever your style of play may be the UK NATIONAL AIRSOFT FESTIVAL has something to offer you. The Festival is first and foremost just that, a joyful event that celebrates airsoft in all its diverse and wonderful forms, and a Festival that just happens to be set on an awesome site that has an enormous airsoft game going on at the same time!

“I hope we’ll see some of you there!”

So there it is, another “office week done“, and airsoft adventures are going on everywhere!

Whatever your weekend looks like airsoft-wise we hope you have as good a time as those of the AA Crew that are out and about… and of course if you’re in-game then Play Hard, Play Safe, and above all, Play with Honour!
