What a weekend it’s going to be for the members of the AA LEGION around the world, and that’s just the starting point as we get really into the season of mellow show-fulness next week as Bill heads off to Taiwan to join media and industry folk from all over the world at MOA EXPO, and from what we’ve seen already there’s going to be a LOT to report on!
It’s also the DUTCH OPEN SHOOT this weekend, so we wish all our friends travelling to the Netherlands the very best of luck in the competition, and shoot well!
But of course this Saturday is a HUGE day for Miguel, Sara, and Bruno along with the entire Portuguese airsoft community, as Miguel told us “this Saturday we will be present at the second AirsoftExpo in Lisbon. Like last year we will have booths from clubs, teams, associations, shops and other projects, but this year it will be bigger, with a total of 43 booths! And this year, not only my team and I will have our spot again, but I’m also part of the staff. So, a lot of work, meetings, preparations and even organizing an event to help support the Expo.” And Sara added “ExpoAirsoft Portugal, letting everyone know what we are about! Personally, I will be assisting the Ghost Ops team and the Airsoft Girls Portugal, as well as capturing the event through my camera lens!”
We hope that all our friends in Portugal have a great time at EXPOAIRSOFT, and of course Miguel will be reporting on it in full soon!
Meanwhile it’s airsoft-biz as usual for the rest of the AA Crew, and Stewbacca said “this weekend, I will be mostly shooting the living shite out of papers and poppers at the Kaohsiung level 3 TPSA/IPSC competition alongside my SPPT teammates and among some fine folks from Hong Kong and further afield too”, while Dan added “I will be setting up a little course of fire for an article I’m working on so I can apply some “science” to an age old debate lol.”
Matt started a bit of banter by telling us all rather cryptically “I’m looking at a can of golden spray paint and considering to do something terrible to a Glock…” while Boycie chipped in to tell us “it’s going to be a long awaited meet up with Steve and a coffee as we discuss the Staccato P project. Also there’ll be some more writing so that I can get further on with further parts to the Project Staccato series of articles!”
Bill told everyone “I’ve got a bit of rangework to finish up, but that’s looking like it may be somewhat fun given that we’ve just had a dump of snow! Still, it won’t be the first time I’ve shot BBs in the snow, and of course next weekend is going to see me in far balmier climes as I head over to MOA… not looking forward to the flights TBH, but I go where the stories are… and I am very much looking forward to seeing so many friends again in Taipei”
Sadly we’ve got a couple of “men down” due to work-work commitments and seasonal maladies, and for those of you out there that have been hit by the lurgy we wish you all a speedy recovery!
Hopefully there’ll be a few of you shooting BBs in the snow like Bill though, and wherever you may be playing then Play Hard, Play Safe, and above all Play with Honour!
