Another Friday rounds off another busy-as-ever office week at AAHQ, and the weekend has well and truly been spotted!

It looks at AAHQ like it’s going to be a real scorcher too, and with some rangetime planned to continue our never-ending AEG and GBB testing program we’re looking forward to getting BBs through the chrono and downrange while the sun shines. Among the things being put together right now is Bruno’s (pictured this week with the Tandemkross Officially Licensed Cthulhu GBB!) very first gun review for the magazine as he tackles a couple of great new models from LANCER TACTICAL!

But of course this Sunday there will be a new issue of AIRSOFT ACTION hitting the online publishing platforms, and we hope that you’ll enjoy, be enlightened, and entertained by what you find in this 108 PAGE whopper…

Some of the AA Crew with families are taking time down (Dad’s Day reasons…) but of course the “usual suspects” are as busy as ever! Bill told us that “I’m really looking forward to a full old day on the woods range tomorrow as I’ve got a right old mash-up of different AEGs and GBBs to get rolling on, or to complete testing for next month’s issue… I’ve also just got the PERUN CLICKER into one of my MK18 AEGs and I want to give that a good battering on the range, although the feel of it seems very cool indeed!”

Stewbacca added that “this weekend there’s the potential threat of a typhoon inbound unless it hopefully fizzles out or changes course. That in mind the plan thus far is for Team Taichi to head to Linkou CQB again for indoor funtimes now they’re back in public mode after some training related closures recently. VFC Walther PDP and Max Tact regulated CO2 Glock mag-testing as well as confirming changes to the FNC and OSW look like a plan, maybe take the MP5SD3 again for some more milk tray man action too…” and Miguel will be “organizing a team practice this weekend, trying out a new game module with our programmable boxes. We might also have some independent players join us.”

Behind the scenes Boycie is “working on “Project Sunny” with a friend and also working on the plan for “Project Parris” with L’il Stu and our good friend Bingo from the USA. All this in addition to a bit of family time”, while Li’l Stu himself said “I’ll be working on another AUG project during Saturday, then in the evening off to a 70th Birthday bash… there will be adult beverages involved I fear!”

Over in the USA Matt said that “I’m working on a handful of articles, and physically recovering from the MilSim Op last weekend” (more to come on that soon!), while Dan told us “we’re visiting with family this weekend, so depending on when I get back, I might have time to go through my gear and make sure the pew pews are at least prepped for D-Day the following weekend. I’ve got some new “Pattern 84” mag pouches coming in from Kommando Store tomorrow and I’m eager to try them out too…”

So, with a lot of the AA Crew having some time with their families it’s going to be a quieter weekend for us, although we know from many online airsoft groups that there’s a tonne of games going on… as the temperatures begin to climb in earnest for the “summer season” though do remember to adjust your kit accordingly, and of course… HYDRATE!

We hope that everyone, all over our big wide world of airsoft has a fabulous weekend, and if you’re out playing… yup, we say it every week… Play Hard, Play Safe, and above all… Play with Honour!
