That’s us fully back in the AIRSOFT ACTION office after our hols (very nice, thanks for asking!) and everything is squared away as we prepare to head into one of our busiest times of the year! Next month “Show Season” swings fully into gear again with MOA, closely followed by SHOT Show and then IWA!

Exciting times fellow ‘softers, and the respective AA Show Teams are all cocked, locked, booked, accredited, and ready to go and search out the very best airsoft product news that we can find for you!

And it must be said that the thought of “good news” comes again at what can only be described as another “challenging time” for the way we hear about all things new and interesting in our shared 6mm-world, as it appears that there’s another “social media purge” underway, with many of our independent friends getting greyed out, their reach curtailed, and their content removed…

This makes us even more certain that we chose the right path in securing our own space right here on the AA Website and moving away from the mainstream so-called “socials”… we control what we publish here and via our publishing platforms, and we always will, so whether you’re a player wanting to find out the latest about cool new products and what is happening in the global airsoft community, or a manufacturer that wants to share your latest “shiny thing” with players all over the world, you can rest assured that AIRSOFT ACTION will be here to hopefully enlighten and entertain you, or share your message!

Tough times, but onwards we shall go, and the members of the AA LEGION are up to their usual shenanigans this coming weekend as you’d expect…

Stewbacca in Taiwan kicked things off by telling us in our end-of-week chat “I just got back from weekly CQB and it seems due to uncertain weather this weekend we will return there in greater numbers this Sunday as well. I’m contemplating what to use… The MP5SD3 could do with another outing, or the L85A2 just for masochistic nostalgia reasons… The problem as always is choice, fellow shooters…

Miguel (pictured this week in-game at home in Portugal) told us that “this Sunday is election day where I am. Does that mean that we won’t be going to the field? Of course not! Although we’re not organizing any practice, we will still go to the field, test/repair any gear. I’m going to test the Acrturus Vanguard Hi-Capa and the Vector Optics Paragon Prism.

Over in the USA Dan said “I might sneak off for an airsoft game this weekend. If not that, then I’ll be hitting the range instead and sighting some of the louder pew pews in…” while Matt added “I am off to AMS Ironhorse in Georgia, also got some photoshoot photos back to work through…

Back in the UK Bill said “Issue 179 is all good to go, just some final proofing to do so I’m off to the woods range to start working up some new test AEGs and GBBs, and the one I have to admit I’m looking forward to is the new BOLT MAS AR… Tomy at BOLT is an old friend, and I’ve been following this project since I saw the prototype in Taiwan… I’m expecting great things from his first GBBR!

Boycie chipped in to say “I’m gonna be working on a piece for the December issue. It’s going to be the first of a three part series and have input from our new guy Tim, L’il Stu, and Steve. I’ll be meeting with L’il Stu this weekend to do some work on it as well as a bit of range time and likely a possible adult beverage as well…

The rest of the AA LEGION are ramping up as well with projects of their own in play, and local games to attend, so it looks like it’s very much “airsoft biz as usual” for all of us after our break. Whatever YOU may be up to this coming weekend, as always we wish you the very best for your own airsoft adventures, and as always Play Hard, Play Safe, and above all Play with Honour!
