There’s always a buzz around AIRSOFT ACTION HQ as we hit this time each month, as all the articles and reviews from the members of the AA LEGION around the world have landed, got their first edit, and are now “in-build” for our next monthly issue.
ISSUE 180 will land on 15 NOVEMBER and then the excitement of “show season” will be truly upon us as Bill heads off on his mammoth 15 hour long-haul with CHINA AIRLINES to join Stewbacca, Anny, and a critical mass of airsoft industry folk at MOA EXPO in Taipei at the end of the month… “our guys” hope that they’ll get to meet some of you in person out there, but for those not able to be there of course we’ll be landing our Show Report as soon as possible to let you know exactly what has been seen in the wild!
And that’s just the first of many major reports to come as we get the news to share with you from the major show spaces in the months to come, and we had an fabulous video meeting with the crew from IWA yesterday to work out just how we can help them make airsoft at the show in Germany even more “front and centre”, and it’s truly great to see just how much they value airsoft as a part of the event now!
But again, of course, the AA LEGION are off on their own airsoft adventures this week, and if they’re not out and about in-game you can sure that they’ll be just as busy on the range and in the workshop as ever… just like you we live and breathe airsoft… it’s not just a hobby to us, but a way of life!
Getting things rolling to close out this office week, Stewbacca told us “the TaiJi team are off to an old site we haven’t been to in a long time; I however am going to help my other teammate out running a shooting class birthday party for his young lad and their friends as something a bit different. Teach your kids the joys of shooting and they’ll never have money for drugs!”
Miguel (pictured this week showing the latest “headpro” from Cygnus Armory… review to come soon!) said “this Sunday we are attending another game within the Op. Ex:Po games. A series of events that aims to help the AirsoftExpo” while Matt chipped in to say that “I’ve got AMS Eastern Front to go to this weekend, this time on the Tan side as opposed to my usual Greens. After that I begin my winter slowing-down on playing airsoft because my room is just exploding with gear and I need to reorganize my life to start anew in 2026!”
Dan told us “after a great deal of hassle, I finally have my hands on some Ares ETU’s for the Vz.58 that’s taken up long term residency here. So I’m looking forward to getting that squared away and finally “out of here!” and fellow Vz.58 enthusiast Rich added “I’ve no games planned this week as I’m working, but I’ll be fitting a new circuit board to the Vz.58 DMR for the weekend after!”
Ben added to our chat “I’m hoping to get up to the Prison Saturday for a night game, and then it’ll be more fine tuning the new beast and chilling on Xbox to play some Battlefield 6!” and Bill said “it’s going to be some more rangetime for me this weekend with the MAS AR as I really want to have my notes straight to discuss with Tomy from BOLT while I’m in Taiwan… I really want to get under the hood of this awesome little GBBR at source before I drop my review…”
We’re massively pleased to see that our resident “Tech Viking” Jimmy is slowly but surely getting back in the groove after his extended stay in hospital, and you just can’t keep a good man off the range or out of the workshop it seems! He said “this weekend I shall mostly be plinking targets. I very recently acquired a lovely little 10/22 from Ace1Arms as well as one of the Lancer Tactical CTHULHU pistols. Ruger-esque is the theme for my weekend!”
We’ve a couple of the guys out taking “family time” this weekend, but Boycie told us “no play this weekend but I will be working on parts 3 and 4 of the <Redacted> series of articles; the first part will be coming in ISSUE 180 on the 15th… very excited to share the project with you all, and to see it finally on-page!”
And that’s how we’ll close-out this week, and as the weekend has most definitely been spotted we’ll be downing tools on the page-design-front later today and filling up our gun-cases and gear-bags ready to “deploy”! We hope that you’ve got something awesome airsoft-wise planned for yourself, and if you’re out in-game then Play Hard, Play Safe, and above all Play with Honour!
