So that’s it, we’re officially into the season of over-indulgence and Santa-inspired and themed games, and we hope that all of our friends over in the USA had a brilliant Thanksgiving… seems that most of us elsewhere around the airsoft world have some turkey-day-related excess to catch up on!

It’s been quieter at AAHQ this week without Bill’s manic-ness, but everyone in the team has been eyes-down making sure that ISSUE 181 is ready to roll on deadline in his absence… and now that Bill and Stewbacca have landed a truly mammoth report from MOA EXPO it is indeed all ready to roll, and we’ll be starting upload to the reader platforms mid next week.

And after his flying visit to Taiwan for the show, Bill told us “MOA EXPO 2025 was downright amazing, and Taiwan was as brilliant as always… but after a twelve-day stretch which included travelling over 12,000 miles, two major time-zone changes, hitting one of the biggest and best dedicated airsoft shows in the world for four days, and then coming back to complete a 5000 word report with Stewbacca… I’m beat!

That said, I did collect some new magazines for my VFC M110 GBBR while I was over there so I may have to go up to the woods range with that just because every day is an airsoft day in one way or another…”

And what of the rest of the AA Crew?

Stewbacca, now somewhat rested after the show and all his awesome visitor-hosting efforts, told us that “I’m back to the usual grind at work work and play work post MOA, I’ll be joining the Team TaiJi bunch out to Xindian again this weekend all being well. After the last visit there with my Saffa teammates for the range work day I’ve got a load of my long guns dialled in a bit better, might take the FNC and M16A2 along again to test at range and on meat targets now they’ve been sorted out good and proper.

PSG-1 is also tempting as it’s the best terrain for it and I got all the magazines serviced recently too… Or the FAL perhaps. Really is a problem of choice, fellow shooters…”

Miguel (pictured this week in all his bearded awesomeness!) added “No stopping. This Sunday we are going back to our field with a couple of teams and just have some fun with a couple of mini games” whilst Rich said “not airsofting directly as I’ve stuff to do, but I will be visiting the White Sphere Tactical shop at Redcon-2 to pick up a pistol for my sons Christmas present. Also to drop off a bottle of Sloe Vodka to Hazel; she let me pick the sloes from the site and I promised her a bottle as a thank you!”

Dan commented “no airsofting for me as we’re hitting the winter slowdown… I’ll still be idly dreaming about adding some MultiCam Alpine kit to the collection… even though the lack of wintertime games makes justifying it hard lol!”

Boycie is still getting his Stacatto-love on, and said “I am working on part 3 and 4 of the Staccato series of articles. Also recovering from the Saturday evening last week with L’il Stu and Steve…”

And it appears that the “season” is already taking its toll as many of the AA Crew are starting to getting pulled into family commitments, as is right and proper to be honest… it’s tough times out there right now economically and we know that the pennies only go so far…

But that said we know that many of you will continue to go that extra mile to get your game on, and if you are out playing then we hope that you’ll have some awesome airsoft adventures… possibly IN THE SNOW!

Whatever you may be up to have fun, and as always Play Hard, Play Safe, and above all Play with Honour!
