After a few days of letting ISSUE 183 settle in here on the website we’re back as usual for our pre-weekend post, updating you on what the members of the AA LEGION are up to!

And it continues to be “bizzy airsoft biz” at AAHQ as we start the build process for ISSUE 184, and get things rolling in preparation for the AA Crew to assemble in Nuremberg for IWA next weekend… by this time next week they’ll already be on Day 2 of the show, so do keep an eye out for their “daily updates” direct from Germany over next weekend!

Sadly some of merry band are still suffering from the maladies of the winter months, and also from  a bit of burnout after long flights and trips away from home base… it’s been a manic start to 2026 and we’ve already seen some amazing things at both MOA and SHOT, but we’re certain that there have been some “shinies” held over to launch at IWA… as we said, watch this space next weekend for the latest!

But that’s a week away still, and as always in our regular “Crew Chat” the “legionnaires” were quick to share what plans they have for this weekend!

Bill kicked things off by telling everyone “I’m super-pleased to share that it’s been a great week with a LOT of positive feedback on ISSUE 183; I’m always proud to receive acknowledgements from within the industry and from the good folk in the player community that our efforts have been enjoyed by so many, and the standard of what the members of the AA Crew create in terms of content just gets better and better! As we prepare to move AIRSOFT ACTION on yet again I can only say that this is one of the very best groups of contributors I’ve ever worked with… and I’m looking forward to spending quality time with some of them at IWA next weekend!

After heading up “Da Bois” in Las Vegas Boycie said “I’m having a few days away with the family and maybe a visit from Li’l Stu. Not confirmed that yet. I’ll be planning some more articles and what could be the start of another series…

And it looks like it’s going to be a busy weekend out on the sites and fields too! Stewbacca commented “Xindian again for team TaiJi! I might go along to test some new [redacted] things I’ve got to get finalised although I’ll be taking it easy with the old, ongoing anklegate saga!

The members of the AA Crew in Portugal are out as always too, and Miguel (pictured this week with his new SPECNA ARMS AK that’s looking AMAZING!) told everyone “this Sunday we are attending an event from the THE GAME group. The event still has little information since the organisers were confirming if the field was OK after the bad weather we’ve been having.” Bruno added to this “basically what Miguel said! In the meantime I have been gathering internals and externals for a SIG 552 AEG build which I plan to record to make a video for YouTube, one of those basically zero comment videos…” and Sara added “we have some personal plans for Saturday, but we’ll be back in time for the airsoft game on Sunday morning!

Over in the still-snowy USA Dan said “I might be hitting up a game this weekend, pending how the weather plays out and if any of my buddies decide to go too. It’s a fair bit of distance on secondary roads that are bit treacherous in the wintertime that I don’t mind tapping out if need be lol…

Here in the UK Ben told us “I’m finally getting out to a site I’ve not been to for about four years, Driverwood, and there’s been so much more added and done to site now, so looking forward to seeing how that plays out. I think there will be nearly thirty of us meeting up there so we’re definitely gonna be a force to reckon with! Pretty much all of us are sponsored by Fujin Airsoft  and as usual one will be filming my days shenanigans to post and share with the rest of the AA Crew, my own YouTube channel and other feeds…”, whilst Rich is “off to the Gaol on Saturday for one of the last games at that site. Sadly it’s closing down!

So essentially there’s, as always, a lot going on with the AA Crew, and a lot more content in the making! We hope that some of you will be getting time in the workshop, on the range, or in-game, and if you are out playing airsoft then Play Hard, Play Safe, and most-importantly Play with Honour!
