It’s a whole new week at AAHQ, and an exciting one as we prepare ISSUE 177 for upload to all our publishing partners this Friday, and as always it’s going to be full to the brim with all things airsoft to enlighten, educate, and hopefully entertain you!
But that’s still to come, and right now we’re excited about some more MCX GBBR platforms that have just hit the stores here from SALVO PRECISION, and particularly the MCX 11.5 SPEAR LT!
Our mates at iWholesales have recently got these in and are already punching them out to UK stores, and they tell us;
“The Salvo Precision MCX series provides a gas blowback MCX platform built upon the reliable Double Eagle MWS system. This design choice offers a solid foundation for performance and customization.”
They also tell us that the key features are;
- The MCX series utilizes the Double Eagle MWS system, which is designed for cross-compatibility with Tokyo Marui MWS parts. This allows users to leverage a wide range of existing aftermarket upgrades and replacement parts.
- This compatibility simplifies maintenance and customization, providing flexibility for users seeking to tailor their rifle to their specific needs.
- The gas blowback system delivers a more realistic shooting experience compared to electric airsoft rifles.
- The system is designed to function with standard Top Gas/Green Gas.
- The rifle features a combination of metal die-cast, aluminium alloy, steel, and fibre polymer components, aiming for a balance of durability and weight.
- Each rifle ships with a 25-BB gas magazine.
- A polymer gun case is included for transport and storage.
- The hop-up unit is adjustable.
With MCX RATTLERs, and two lengths of SPEAR and VIRTUS to choose from in either black or tan (as pictured) they all look great, but it’s the SPEAR, a rifle platform developed by SIG as their entry into the U.S. Army’s Next Generation Squad Weapon (NGSW) program, which aimed to replace the M4 carbine, and is now known as the M7 that really takes our eye!
From what we see these new MCX variants look absolutely ace, and we’re sure that given the “OS” all of the models will deliver some cool performance as stock, and we’re looking forward to grabbing one of these on our next visit to iWholesales to see how they really work straight out of the box…
