We decided to give you a little update on our VORSK VMP-2s today as given the warm (WARM!) weather we hope that everyone has been making the absolute most of their GBBRs!

We had the VMP-2C out on the woods range this weekend, and with ALL our compatible VMP mags loaded up, a bag of VORSK .20g and another of .28g BBs, and a can (or two!) of VORSK V6 FUEL in hand it was off to the steels… and what a thoroughly FUN afternoon we spent clanging those steels in the sun… the VMP-2C was simply superb!

The little-ist of the new VMP-2s chrono’d perfectly at between 327 and 328 fps (0.99 Joule!) on a .20g just as intended, so no issues whatsoever there.

One thing we did find was that the Skeleton Stock when switched from the SD to the C and fitted to the highest point on the picatinny mount meant it was nigh-on impossible to use the cocking handle on the RHS, our usual positioning with the VMP-2 models.

Of course we just switched out the cocking handle to the LHS and this worked perfectly with the stock open or folded to the side… and with the cocking handle on the LHS of the VMP-2C it struck us that it was very MP5k-like, and now we love the 2C even more than we did, especially with the big mag in… does this mean we now do a “V-Slap” instead of an “HK-Slap”?

Yes, yes it does!

We’ll be taking our VMP-2 variants down to The National Airsoft Event next month, so if you’re a fellow VORSK-user then come find us… we’re sure we’ll have notes and airsoft adventures to compare and share!
