So, after a somewhat fraught month we’re fully back in the office and raring to go again, and what better way to start the week then to have a look at the new SPECNA ARMS FLEX AEG models, the F01 (short, pictured) and F02 (carbine)!

Designed for the new player or for those that want a backup AR AEG at an affordable price, both models have an innovative quick spring change system, great performance straight out of the box and high-quality components.

The receiver, the Free Float front, the guide with the enlarged stock which houses the battery and the pistol grip are made out of nylon reinforced polymer. The barrel, the flash hider, the enlarged reloading handle and manipulators are made out of aluminium alloy and ZnAl. All of the screws, pins, the ejection flap and the dummy bolt are made out of steel. There are markings and a serial number on the receiver. The replica has been very well-made, so there’s no loose elements or rattle between the lower and upper receiver parts. The use of a light plastic front and receiver allows for significant weight reduction, which makes it perfect for more dynamic games and CQB. The reinforcement with nylon fiber makes the AEG more durable than many polymer replicas.

Although priced to entice you still get Specna’s quick spring change system, ESA ™. This allows for quick and efficient adjustment of the AEG’s power to the conditions expected in the game field without the need to have access to a workshop or a number of specialized tools. Both models have been fully adapted to work with LiPo and LiFe batteries. Thanks to the basic muzzle velocity of ~ 375 FPS guaranteed by the factory-installed main spring, the replica is perfect for mid-range operations, but in the box you also get an M90 spring, which allows you to reduce the initial muzzle velocity to around 300fps, making both models perfectly adapted to operate at short distances or inside buildings.
